The Five People You Meet In Heaven

This is a story about Eddy. He worked in Ruby Pier. Eddie had worked maintaining the rides for almost his entire life. The story started out when Eddie tried to save a girl from an accident. He died because he sacrificed his life to save her. After that, Eddy realized that he was in heaven, but heaven wasn’t a beautiful place as he imagined. Heaven was a living place of human. At there, he met five people who had affected his life, whether he realized them at the time or not. They taught Eddy different lessons, and made him understand why some events happened in his live.
The first person is Jospeh Corvelzchik –-the Blue Man-. He taught him about fairness. He said that fairness didn’t adjust the death and birth. If the fairness did it, no good man would ever die young. Death is not only taking someone, but also changes the life. There is a balance. One withers, the other grows. Death and birth are parts in the totality. And from that Eddy also knows that all people are connected, that we all of our stories are linked.
The second person is the Captain. He taught him that sacrifice is a part of life -when we sacrifice something we gain something too-. He said “sometimes when you sacrifice something precious, you’re not really losing it. You’re just passing it on to someone else “. At that moment, Eddie realized that the captain is willing to sacrifice him self to save his live.
The third person is Ruby. She taught him about forgiveness. Ruby told him how his father died. She said that all parents damaged their children and it couldn’t be helped. She wants Eddie forgives his father and doesn’t feel more resentment towards him.
The fourth person is Marguerite, his wife. He saw Marguerite’s face when she was young. Eddy told her about his life after she died and Eddie said that she died too soon. After that Marguerite gave her lesson. Love does not have an end. When people die, love takes a different form.
The fifth person is Tala. She taught him that everyone has a purpose to life that not only affects their own lives but unknowingly touches the lives of others. And from her, Eddy knows that he successfully saved the girl.
After that, Tala brought Eddy along to the pier. He saw thousands of people, from the past and present. Finally, he saw his wife Marguerite was sitting on a Ferris wheel. He came to her. He looked at the clouds forming into one word “Home”.
“This is what heaven for: understanding your life on earth”
